Last year we helped a mate make a Nero d'Avola and we were able to keep a barrel for ourselves. 

Medium bodied, juicy bright red fruits with a rustic edge. The perfect wine for a night in with your favourite Italian pizza or pasta.

What is Nero'd Avola? An Italian grape variety, that loves a warmer climate. It's native home is in Sicily where is it often made as a simple table wine but can also be made into a more serious single vineyard wine. This fruit came from a vineyard with similar costal influences, on the Fleurieu Peninsula in South Australia.
