We have been sourcing Pinot Noir from Newton's Ridge, a little vineyard just inland from Port Campbell and this year were offered a couple of hundred kilos of Pinot Gris. Barrel fermented with natural yeasts, then simply settled and bottled without any filtration. A cool season and a cool site, the wine has great drive and acid structure, underpinning the ripe pear, quince and green apple flavours.
A minuscule 120 bottles were bottled by hand, so this is super rare, and available to club members only.
