$50.00 Cellar Door
These vines are now 43yrs old. Regarded as a very good year in the region, cool, but warmer than the super cold 2011. Good yields, even ripening. Everything in place. Harvest 23rd March. The majority was destemmed and fermented wild in 500lt open oak puncheons over 19 days, while another portion had some whole bunches included. The overall whole bunch percentage is around 20%. The two parcels were blended just prior to bottling after resting in 32% new French oak puncheons and barriques for 11 months.
